Who am I?
I’m an artist and business owner, a wife and the mother of two great kids, both of whom are now grown and are by far the best thing I’ve ever done. I love (need) to be creative and approach life in that way including domestic stuff like cooking and sewing. I have a passionate yet sometimes rebellious nature and I refuse to accept the status-quo simply for the sake of it.
As you may have guessed, my husband is Jewish and I’ve spent the last few decades of my life on a sometimes bumpy journey of learning how to make his people my own.
My favorite things to talk about besides my kids are God, faith, and issues of theology. And while I’m no expert on God, or faith, or issues of theology, I invite you to sojourn with me as I contemplate how to more fully make His people my people.
While my name is Ruth, it isn’t my first name. I use it here because, honestly, adventuring into the “blogosphere” is fairly intimidating and feels a bit like going outside without my clothes on. Additionally, I have it on good authority that there are some very cool people who use their middle names publicly.
